Car sponsorship solicitation: Sent. No response yet as of posting time.
Final payment on Ion Redline: Due.
Bank Accounts: Outstandingly low
Last Paycheck: Only $100
Rent to my parents (they're horrible): Overdue
Loan determinations: Still pending
Honda: Still needs cleaning inside and out
Room: Still needs cleaning
Warning: The rest that follows is a bunch of me needing an outlet really bad.
So...I was able to make some deals and borrow money for the car payment from two different sources, minus $50 I dunno how I'm going to come up with. I still need to get tires and have those installed. Also, the money borrowing is contingent on me letting some people borrow one of my cars from time to time, which I'm fine with to be honest. I think.
I sat at a booth in a deli today for hours, staring at my phone impatiently while freaking out repeatedly between sparse phone calls. I had several anxiety attacks while waiting between phone calls, which sucked.
Also, this booth is at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! place of work. Honestly, I saw her arriving at work and I both got excited and immediately terrified. I was pulling in to the parking lot; I turned myself right back around before coming back later in the evening. She was still there. This fed into my stress, and that only snowballed out of control as after speaking with my counselor about this person she agreed it would be best to try to get her to come in to an appointment with me. I was not in any condition to do that, which sucks so bad just ugh.
I am possibly forever unsettled by Jeep Rubicons now. This was the car the linked incident happened in.
I will have, when this is said and done, three cars. Yes, I am poor. I am aware of this, however the news there is that I have these cars and will be selling at least one of them if this sponsorship (or a backup sponsorship) doesn't go through, putting me back on track.
The other thing is, I budgeted for this Ion. I well and truly did, and I didn't expect problems to come up with my work hours. Once those are resolved I will be easily back on track, but for now I'm going to have to deal with at least one more bad paycheck before jumping back on the "approaching middle class income" train.
I don't think I need to tell my fellow Opponauts the importance of having a good car. This has been very therapeutic to me, and it helps me escape from the many problems I have domestically, medically, and romantically. If I can just get this car, I will have something to hold on to. I'll be able to keep hanging on no matter what happens.
You might ask "well what's wrong with the Honda?", but there's a lot of emotional baggage tied to that thing that I'll tell in its own post later, once the project is nearing completion and I can well and truly call that car mine. Even still, it'll be tarnished by that baggage and if push comes to shove and the only thing I own is going to be the Saturn, then it needs to be the Saturn.
I just...I just have way too much going on. I don't know how much more I can take you guys. I'm really hoping that tomorrow will be better.

Thanks. This kind of thing right here is why having an Oppo sticker is mandatory on my sponsorship terms!

Oh, also fun fact for you owing to your name: Her pet name for me is Odysseus, something she keeps calling me (at this point I just wish she'd stop, just calling me S would do nice).
If I'm Odysseus, then she's gods-damned Charybdis.

You sound like my cousin
Ion Redline...
there's your problem. My car embarrasses him every day we're together and he wishes had had figured out how to build something instead:

It was 3 grand to build. 3k, done. It gets more respect than his plastic car 8 days a week. He's swimming in debt over the scion, and wishes he had something else as soon as he wakes up in the morning.

Yes, yes. Your Neon is pretty cool and the build is good and shares the same spirit that I have. Too bad my car's better.
When I'm done with the Ion it's going to be twin charged on E85 so, uh, take that. It'll also be a performance/fuel economy build. I'll leave the craziest stuff to my only listed Oppoproject: The Sniper . Honestly, though, I've done more work to the stupid Honda. Making the Sniper live up to its name is going to take some money I just don't have right now.
I got the Ion for $1850 base price. Will be getting. That last payment is the trick, ugh.
